I am so excited today! I am going to learn to use an instrument! Something I have been inspired to do since Sarah took me hitch hiking when I was 19 and taught me how to play one beat on a really beautiful drum.

Mom and Ryan took me on a special early birthday trip to Qualicum this afternoon to pick out a drum for myself! It was so exciting to go see them and hear them, but this big beautiful drum was definitely it.

It has a beautiful sound, and I can't wait until I have practiced enough to keep a beat and learn new ones and make ones! Woohoo!
