We've been having a couple of sunny days here and there amidst all the fog lately, such is winter here, but I find you appreciate the sun all the more for it.
And I find sunshine-like juice is an excellent complement to a sunny morning.
Today's juice was orange and apple.
It went as such:
4 small navel oranges
2 apples
We have been laying low the past couple of days. Our kittens went in for surgery just yesterday and Ryan has been a mess with worry. It's pretty cute, honestly.
Ginny seemed to recover a bit better from the anesthetic than her sister, but she also came out of surgery a couple of hours before Storm. Poor little gal, it took her forever to wake up fully and regain proper motor control. She just did a lot of this.
In general with Storm snuggles are pretty mandatory, and surgery is simply no exception. She basically wanted to be sleeping on someone until she started really waking up. I don't blame her.
Happy February beginnings! I can't wait to let my cats have freedom outdoors!
When mom brought our cats home from being fixed, they were so drugged! They were literally high and it was so annoying! I had to prevent them from licking themselves, and Hello! Have you tried to prevent three boys from paying attention to their balls? Especially when drugged! It was so exhausting! Luckily after about an hour they calmed down and were almost back to normal. But it was still really annoying, lol.
ReplyDeleteAll of your juices look so so delicious! Sometimes I get juice at school but it is quite pricy ($4.50/glass) so it is a "once every couple of months" sort of thing.
ps, Happy Chinese New Year!
